Well, needless to say, or maybe it does need to be said. I’m not the best with words. I prefer speaking through my photography. Cliché? Perhaps. But like I said, l’m not great with words. This is my attempt to improve on that. And hopefully to learn something about myself. And maybe teach someone else something they didn’t know.
lets start with the basics. My name is Dillon, I am 36 years old and this is My first blog entry ever in my life. Which seems ridiculous because I am of the generation of Blogging (live journal, myspace, etc). But I digress. I have an associates degree in photography from Oakland Community College. I have been documenting my life with photographs since about the age of 12. My father was an amateur photographer when he was in his twenties. So when I found his cameras stashed away in a bag in the basement I was hooked. At some point I just started seeing the world through a lens. Constantly wanting to freeze every moment.
Through this blog I hope to share insights in my 20+ years documenting my life through photography. Highlighting Photoshoots and projects I have worked on with some documentary street photography as well. If you made it to the end, thank you. I’ll catch you on the next one.
