Dillon Balmas is a Metro-Detroit based photographer with an associates degree in applied science of photography from Oakland Community College. He is trained in both film and digital photography.

A Majority of his work is heavily influenced by Documentary style photography. Finding moments in time or seeing something hidden in plain sight.

Dillon has a keen eye for perspective and utilizing shadow and light in his images. focusing heavily on a “flat” perspective. He prefers photographing urban landscapes with with a deep depth of field but experiments with other forms of photography such as Instant Film and alternative processes.
